Couple Charged With Tying Up Children And Putting Boxes On Their Heads

Utah Couple Charged With Child Abuse For Tying Up Children And Putting Boxes On Their Heads: A couple in Utah is facing felony child abuse charges after their 11-year-old son showed a video of his two younger brothers to his teacher; in the video, the children had their hands tied behind their backs and boxes over their heads. According to court documents, most of the abuse was coming from the stepmother, Lori Carling, while father Chad Anderson says the idea of using the boxes on the children “initially started as a joke and scare tactic.” According to the 11-year-old, the eight and five-year-old were being punished because they were being loud in the morning, which the child says usually led to the two spending an entire day in “time out.” Police believe that only two of the six children in the house were being abused.
