JUST ASKING: Food Freshness
Over in England, some supermarkets are getting rid of "best before" dates for hundreds of items -- including fresh fruit and vegetables -- in an attempt to reduce food waste.
Instead of stamping food items with a date, they're going to just allow people to use their best judgment when deciding whether or not food is still good to eat.
- How picky are you about food freshness? Are you religious about those dates?
- Do you throw away leftovers immediately? Do you leave leftovers at the restaurant -- and never take them home with you?
- Or ... Does nothing go to waste?
