Bloody Creek
A creek in New Jersey is running blood red in what looks like a scene out of the bible, only it's not from the book of Exodus -- it's from the nearby soda company.
A stretch of the Pennsauken Creek, outside of Philadelphia, suddenly turned red this week and flowed into a wastewater treatment facility. Officials determined it was caused by red food dye that was accidentally discharged from the TopPop Packaging Company. While the chemical spill was not determined to be hazardous, the company was still cited for an environmental violation.
