WEIRD NEWS: Down in a Hole
First responders in Florida spent the day Monday dealing with a bizarre situation involving a man, a hole, and a manhole.
Dozens of cops and firefighters opened a manhole cover and found a man down inside a storm drain. He didn't tell them why he was in there or how he got in, but he did ask them for a Mountain Dew, which they were able to provide. But moments later, they lost contact with him and had no idea where he went. They believe he ultimately found his own way out of the storm drain, but they still haven't been able to locate him. The ordeal caused a road to be closed for several hours and kept first responders and ambulances occupied for a long time. (WTVT-TV)

- It's very hot in Florida. It's much cooler in the storm drain.
- It's odd that he could have climbed out of the storm drain without anyone seeing him.
