Art Fraud
An Upstate New York man is charged with forgery after he was caught with a fake inspection sticker on his vehicle, but his extremely poor artistic ability is perhaps what is most offensive.
State troopers stopped the 30-year-old driver at 3:30 in the morning on a routine traffic stop and immediately noticed something fishy with the inspection sticker in the windshield. Not only was it fake, it was a really bad fake. He had clearly used a Sharpie and a Post-It note to create what looks like a second-grader's doodle. The driver is facing a felony charge of criminal possession of a forged instrument. He was given a very real ticket to appear in court and then released. (Albany Times Union)
