Oh, the places you'll go ... Do you like your green eggs and ham in a house? If so, you can't find a better one than this sprawling $19 million estate in La Jolla, California, that belonged to the late Dr. Seuss until his death in 1991. The large mansion, which was gifted to the University of California - San Diego by the late wife of Theodor Seuss Geisel in 2019, is up for sale. The hilltop estate, which sits on four acres and was where most of the classic Dr. Seuss books was written, offers stunning views of the ocean and the mountains. The listing agent says all proceeds of the sale will go into the Geisel Fund of the UC San Diego Foundation to be used for campus projects, and potential buyers must be able to purchase the home in cash.
