WEIRD NEWS: Bathroom Bye-Bye
A Thai woman who was locked in her own bathroom for days thought her life was swirling down the drain -- so she wrote a farewell note on the walls.
The 54-year-old, whose name was not released, stepped into her powder room for her evening shower and found the door was jammed shut. Because she lives alone in the large house, which is surrounded by a large security gate, no one could hear her screaming for help.
After three days, she became convinced she'd never leave the loo alive, so she decided to say farewell -- by writing a letter on the wall using face cream. She wrote, "I've been drinking tap water to stay alive and if it runs out, I'll probably die."
Fortunately, her sister eventually got tired of leaving voicemails and decided to check on her welfare -- then brought in firefighters to cut through the locks and free the woman, who was flushed with fear but otherwise fine. (Mirror)
Scott's Thought's:
- Don't these people have windows?
- See! That's why I take my phone to the bathroom! That and the scrolling while I poop.
- Why would the tap water run out?
