TWITTER TESTING AN EDIT BUTTON
Twitter was founded in 2006. It's 2022. And it seems that now, finally, Twitter has finally gotten around to creating an edit button.
The company is testing a feature that would let users edit a tweet after posting it.
There will be limits. This edit button will allow users to edit a tweet "a few times" up to 30 minutes after it is posted. In other words, you have a half-hour to regret your decision and push the eject button.
But, readers will still be able to see the entire history of the post if they want to.
At the end of the day, be careful what you post on Twitter -- or the internet -- because Twitter and the Internet never forget.
