APPLE RELEASES BIG-TIME iPHONE UPDATE
Apple released its new iOS 16 software update for iPhones yesterday. If you're rocking an iPhone 8 or newer, you're in business.
Some of the changes include:
- iMessage Editing - Users can edit or unsend a message in iMessage within 15 minutes of sending it. The other user will be able to see that the message has been edited or removed.
- E-mail Scheduling - The built-in Mail app on iPhones will allow users to schedule emails to send later.
- Better Texting with Android Users - Thanks to this new update, Android users will finally see reactions from iMessage users, such as laughs, hearts and more. This is a big one for iPhone users who text with Android users.
- The iPhone as a Webcam - Users can now use their iPhone as a webcam in a feature called Continuity Camera. This feature won't be totally operational until the new version of macOS debuts later this fall, but we're close.
