Become Internet famous ... These days, it doesn't take much talent or skill to be famous. TikTok has shown us that. So it shouldn't come as a surprise to learn that nearly half of Americans in a recent survey say they believe they have what it takes to be Internet famous. 41% of people polled said they've thought about breaking into content creation. The reasons they give for wanting to give it a try include the opportunity to make a lot of money, become famous, share their passion with the world, and being their own boss. And of the 2,000 people polled, 30% say they've already gone viral at some point in their lives. But be careful about self image. Trying to make yourself look great to be in videos all the time can have a negative effect.
Speaking of looking good...
Looking good but feeling bad … Some people say that “if you look good, you feel good,” but sometimes you can focus so much on looking good that you actually start to feel bad. Actor Zac Efron is speaking out about how getting in shape for Baywatch left him feeling miserable, despite how toned he looked. To prepare for the film, Zac went on a strict diet, worked out constantly and even started taking medications to reduce the fluid in his body. The result? He got a chiseled six-pack and beefy muscles, but he says it definitely wasn’t worth it. He developed insomnia and depression that took six months after filming wrapped to really wear off. He says he would never do it again, no matter how good the role is.
Scott's Thoughts:
- Guys can have issues with their body image, too. I do.
- It doesn’t matter if you look good if you don’t feel good.
- Being healthy is the most important thing!
