School Bus Driver Threatened to Shoot Students
A school bus driver in Utah has been suspended after she threatened to shoot kids if they continued to tell her that she took a wrong turn.
In a video captured on the bus, the driver can be heard telling the kids, "One more person says 'Where are we going,' I'm going to shoot them.'" The fed up driver then said, "OK, now listen. I missed the stop. I'm trying to turn around. Do you understand? OK. Sit down and be quiet." The incident took place last Friday in the Alpine School District. A district official said, "We are aware of a situation on a bus. The employee is on administrative leave pending an investigation. We strongly condemn any threatening action or language directed toward others. We expect all employees to create safe and nurturing environments free of verbal or physical threats." Police are also investigating the incident and looking into whether the driver was in possession of a weapon. (NBC News)
