A new British study found that even if you don’t get the recommended 7-9 hours of sleep a night, if you sleep well during the hours you are snoozing – falling asleep quickly and no tossing and turning – that can be even better than the amount of time you’re sleeping. Getting good quality sleep is even more important during cold and flu season – as people who don’t get good sleep are three times more likely to catch a cold.
