Help Wanted, Wanted Woman
When applying for a job with the local sheriff's office, one should make sure they are qualified for the job... and not be a fugitive from justice.
27-year-old Zyeama Johnson of New Jersey applied for a security guard job with the Hudson County Sheriff's Office. Officers conducted a routine background check and saw that she had multiple outstanding warrants for failing to appear in court on both fraud and traffic charges. A detective then came down and placed her under arrest. A subsequent search of her home found her in possession of stolen credit cards, which added an additional criminal charge to her record. Scott's Thoughts:
- Sooo... does this mean I didn't get the job, officer?
- Wow, it doesn't get much dumber than this.
- It's an easy day at the office for cops when the fugitive comes right to them.
