Florida Inmate Tries To Stab Deputies With Plunger: A Florida inmate may be in jail for longer than he originally planned after he attacked deputies with a toilet plunger. 35-year-old Isaac Brevil of Delray Beach was unclogging his cell toilet when he refused to give it back to deputies through the meal flap opening in his cell. Deputies say he broke the handle in two, resisted “clear-out chemicals,” and used his mattress to block the cell door when deputies tried to enter to get the plunger back. Brevil wasn’t able to penetrate the deputies’ body armor with the sharp end of the broken handle, but one deputy did suffer a fractured elbow during the scuffle.
