Two-Tired to Drive (A Florida Man Story)

Two-Tired to Drive

A Florida man was pulled over after cops noticed he was driving a car with only two tires, which he later blamed on "paranormal activity."

Cops stopped 29-year-old Andres Orjuela-Montealegre on Interstate 75 when they noticed his vehicle's hazard lights were on and he had only two tires. The driver told police that someone had put a curse on him and it caused him to hit a curb, which is why the tires were gone. He then explained that he had only two choices -- either drive home on two tires, or set his car on fire and go to sleep on the median of the highway. He opted for choice A.

He was asked to get out of the vehicle and appeared unsteady on his feet, so officers asked him to take a field sobriety test. He refused and instead started cursing at them and threatened, "If you mess with me right now, let me tell you something, I’m going to break your head with a baseball bat. I’m going to … skin you alive.” He then spit on one of the officers and reached for his Taser. He was placed under arrest and faces multiple charges including battery on a law enforcement officer and resisting arrest. (NY Post)

Scott's Thoughts:

  • Sometimes a sobriety test isn't really necessary to determine whether someone is on something.
  • At least he chose to drive the car instead of setting it on fire and sleeping on the highway.
  • Oh, he is cursed alright. With stupidity.
