Wanna be healthier? Lift weights and take a nap!

Wanna be healthier? Pick up some weights. A new study from the University of Michigan found that weak muscles could be as bad for your long-term health as smoking. In fact, muscle weakness could actually be accelerating the biological aging process.

Speaking of being healthy, sleep is also very important! So take a nap:

Sleeping on the job? We build nap time into the days of our younger children, so why not into the work day? According to a new survey of 9,000 Americans, the vast majority of us are sleep deprived, and our lives are suffering as a result. The study showed that 46% of participants reported at least one hour of social jet lag, while 19.3% experienced at least two hours. Social jet lag is calculated by finding the difference between sleep and wake time on workdays and non-workdays. As a result, 74% take a nap during work hours at least once a week -- and 11% say they snooze for a bit every day.

The most common sleep option is 30 to 40 minutes: One in three people said that was their nap limit. 25% said they kept it under 30 minutes, but 18% copped to snoozing for more than an hour.
