COOL IT ON THE ENERGY DRINKS
There once was a gamer who sat on his couch and had so many energy drinks that his pancreas ate itself.
Popular YouTube doctor Bernard Hsu shared a story about a 36-year-old man who chugged 12 energy drinks in 10 minutes to impress his colleagues.
He never anticipated the damage he was doing to himself. He immediately felt sick and threw up. He thought he'd feel better in time, but the next day he was still sick and experiencing stomach pain, so he went to the hospital, where he proceeded to vomit on a nurse's shoes.
Doctors examined him and discovered he had acute pancreatitis -- caused by large quantities of sugar, caffeine and other chemicals in the drinks. His pancreas was essentially "digesting itself," according to the doctor. So, while Red Bull might give you wings, it might give you a lot of health problems, if you drink too much of it.
