How to watch Charlie Brown Thanksgiving (And More T-Giving Tid Bits)

Good grief! No Charlie Brown Thanksgiving? In what seems almost impossible to believe, A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving will not be airing on traditional broadcast TV this year. What has been a holiday tradition for so many people for more than 50 years, A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving will only be airing on Apple TV+. But the news isn't as bad as it sounds. Apple TV+ will make the special, along with all of the other Charlie Brown holiday specials, available to subscribers and non-subscribers for free from Wednesday, November 23rd to Sunday, November 27th. And then next month, A Charlie Brown Christmas will be available for free from December 22nd through December 25th.

Who will get the drunkest at your Thanksgiving gathering? 63% of respondents in a recent poll said there’s always one family member who imbibes too much during the festivities. And who is that person? One-third of those surveyed said it’s an uncle. 54% of respondents said they already know that someone is going to have to apologize the morning after the Thanksgiving holiday.

Pie preferences ... Pumpkin pie may get all the attention, but it seems when it comes to fave Thanksgiving desserts, it’s all about apple. According to a survey, apple pie was the favorite Thanksgiving dessert, with 43% of respondents choosing it above others. Apple narrowly beat out pumpkin pie (42%), and the third favorite was chocolate pie (34%).

Thanksgiving salad ... Most people don't think of salad when they think of a Thanksgiving side dish, but here's a reason to have one. Eating a few leafy greens -- aside from being good for you -- may actually help you consume more of the other dishes you'd rather be eating. In an argument for adding salad to Thanksgiving, Eater suggests it may help to cut through the richness of the other high-calorie dishes and may actually help you eat even more.
