Man Arrested After Family Monopoly Game Turns Violent: A family game of Monopoly during the holidays never leads to anything good, and it certainly didn’t in Tulsa on Saturday night. Officers were called to a report of shots fired just before 6:30 p.m.; the caller said that John Armstrong had chased her and her father down the street and fired a shot. The family had been drinking when a fight broke out between Armstrong and his stepfather during the game, which led the game board and furniture being turned over. Armstrong reportedly pulled a gun after getting cut in the head and told police he fired one shot “at the ground.” He was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon.
