Calling police more than 2,000 times in nine days just to call them “big stupid a-holes” will get you arrested -- at least in Japan.
Police say they received 2,060 angry phone calls between September 30th and October 8th from a 67-year-old man who repeatedly hurled insults at them and called them "tax thieves." Police finally had enough and paid a visit to the man, who greeted them at the door and said, "I knew the police would come for me someday.” Well, "someday" finally came and he was charged with interfering with police. A deeper dive into his disdain for police found that he had actually been making harassing phone calls for years, but only recently ramped it up. (Sora News)
Scott's Thoughts:
- You have to give the guy some props for his dedication and consistency.
- Why did it take so long for police to respond? They let him call more than 2,000 before they got fed up.
- He really needs to find a new hobby.
