TSA agents at Tampa International Airport had to pull a passenger out of the security line because she was trying to fly with her emotional support boa constrictor.
The woman put her bag through the X-ray machine and the screener noticed what appeared to be a coiled up snake inside. They searched the bag and found a four-foot boa constrictor next to a laptop and two pairs of shoes. When questioned about the snake, the woman explained it's her emotional support pet and his name is Bartholomew. Security notified the airline and told them she, nor Bartholomew, would be allowed to fly. (Yahoo)

Scott's Thoughts:
- What kind of emotional problems could someone have that is eased by a boa constrictor?
- Many airlines don't even allow emotional support pets anymore. And the one that do probably won't allow an emotional support boa.
- Even if you are allowed to fly with an emotional support pet, do not put it through the X-ray machine.
- It's a snake. How could that be an emotional support animal. That's just dumb.
