Inmate Tries To Escape Bolivian Prison Disguised As A Sheep: As mastermind-level plans go, this one was bad. Jose Luis Callisaya Diaz was serving 15 years on a homicide conviction when he decided to break out of prison by wrapping himself in sheepskin and crawling through the grassland around the jail. Prison officials say that Diaz thought the cold weather would give him some cover, but guards noticed he wasn’t in his cell and went looking for him. He’s now facing the rest of his sentence plus legal and disciplinary actions from the prison.
