Florida Man Admits Using His Tax Return Money To Buy Weed: When most people get their tax return, they catch up on bills, put it into savings, or splurge on something. Alexander Rey Rivero of Florida picked the last one, admitting to deputies when they pulled him over that he had spent his tax refund on weed. Deputies say they smelled a strong odor of marijuana coming from his vehicle and Rivero asked about it; he told them where it was in the vehicle and said he bought a pound of marijuana for $500 with his tax money. He also admitted to driving without a valid driver’s license. No word on if he had enough of his refund left to post bail.
