If you hear a knock at the door, be sure to ask "who's there?" If there's no answer, don't open the door because it could be an unwanted visitor, like an alligator.
A Florida man heard a noise at his front door last week and opened the door to find a large alligator which quickly attacked him. The gator, which was just shy of eight feet long, took a bite of the homeowner's thigh. He was rushed to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Fish and Wildlife officers responded to the scene with an alligator trapper and found the enormous reptile hiding under a trailer. It was pulled out and later euthanized. (USA Today)
Scott's Thoughts:
- Wildlife officials warn that it's alligator mating season some residents will see more them around.
- It's like the old SNL landshark skit.
- This guy needs a doorbell cam.
