“Hero” Bartender Saves Girls From Creep At The Bar

Some guys can’t seem to take a hint and when you’re out with your friends and a persistent man won’t take a hint, it can ruin an otherwise fun night. That’s what happened to Trinity Allie when she and a friend were being harassed at a bar by a guy, but a very observant bartender stepped in to save the day.

Allie took to social media to publicly thank Max Gutierrez, their bartender who became their knight in shining armor when he noticed the man and went above and beyond to help his customers out. Max passed the young women a note that looked like a receipt and read, “If this guy is bothering you, put your ponytail on your other shoulder and I will have him removed. He’s giving me the CREEPS.”

According to Allie, Max had to “literally yell at the guy” to get him to leave them alone, telling him, “You need to get tf away from these girls who clearly are not interested.” The harasser complained to the bartender that he was being “a little aggressive,” but Max hit back by telling him he was “aggressively hitting on them” and that he needed to leave. He’s being cheered online for his efforts, with one fan writing, “Not all heroes wear capes. Some wear Hawaiian shirts.”

Scott's Thoughts:

  • If he’s not bartender of the year, I don’t know who is!
  • I have seen bartenders look out for young ladies at the bar before. Good job guys/gals!
  • It really is good customer service and the right thing to do.
