The winter was much warmer than usual in peach-growing states, disrupting the period when the trees regenerate. And then as trees began to bloom in Georgia last month, a cold snap hit and took out many of those blooms. The smaller crop is going to mean that you'll pay at least 20% more at the supermarket.
