The latest weight loss trend could cost users their backside. New side effects of the weight loss injectable Ozempic is leaving some people with the dreaded âOzempic buttâ. Some say their rears have flattened âlike a pancakeâ since starting the medication in an attempt to slim down. The problem seems to be that even though patients are losing weight, they may not be losing it in the ârightâ place, like the belly.
Meds like Ozempic, Wegovy, and Manjauro are drugs patients take through a shot to curb appetite (and control diabetes) by altering various hormones. While itâs been a dream drug for some, others have also reported a hollowed-out-looking âOzempic faceâ as well as nausea and diarrhea symptoms so bad that they end up in the emergency room.
