Liquor Store Clerk Busted For Trying To Cash In Stolen Lottery Ticket

Liquor Store Clerk Busted After Allegedly Trying To Cash In Stole Lottery Ticket: A Massachusetts liquor store clerk is in big trouble after allegedly trying to cash in a $3 million lottery ticket that a customer left behind at her store. Carly Nunes, 23, sold Paul Little two State Lottery Quick Picks and two Mass Cash lottery tickets earlier this year. Unfortunately, Little forgot to take the tickets with him. When another customer found them 45 minutes later, they handed them to Nunes who was now holding a winning ticket. That’s when she allegedly hatched a scheme with her coworker Joseph Reddem, 32, to collect the winnings. However, when the two showed up, Lottery officials were suspicious of the tattered ticket and the fact that Nunes and Reddem were arguing about splitting their winnings in the lobby. Lottery authorities opened an investigation and found the liquor store footage showing that Nunes did not buy that ticket. The Plymouth County DA says she now faces charges of larceny from a building, presentation of a false claim, and witness intimidation and is being held on a $10,000 bail. As for Reddem, he’s charged with attempted extortion and is due back in court on July 28th.

Teen Nabbed For "Skittles Attack" On Restaurant Patrons: A guy in Minnesota is in custody after pelting restaurant patrons with Skittles. Investigators say Tristan Stetina, 19, walked into an eatery recently and “began throwing Skittles at employees and customers.” When cops showed up, they noticed the candy all over the floor and were told by one of the victims that the assailant had a “heart-shaped tattoo under his eye and another tattoo on the side of his face.” The description was enough for cops to know exactly who was behind the stunt as Stetina had been arrested twice before. After finding the teen nearby, he allegedly “pulled away and attempted to break free from officers,” even tripping one of the cops as they were trying to place him in handcuffs. Stetina was charged with misdemeanor assault and could also face charges of misdemeanor disorderly conduct and resisting police.
