A Los Angeles family is feeling extremely anxious about their beloved pet which recently got out of the house, and there's a good reason why. It's a 15-foot python named Big Mama.
The enormous snake slithered out of its cage when it was mistakenly left open, and managed to leave the house without a trace. Big Mama's owner Alex Villalta insists that she is friendly to humans so neighbor's should not worry about their own safety, but warns that if Big Mama gets hungry, she will be looking for small animals, therefore neighbors should keep a close eye on their pets. He also asks that if anyone sees Big Mama around the neighborhood to call him and, most importantly, not do anything to hurt her. He's also offering a $1,000 reward for her safe return. (KABC-TV)
Scott's Thoughts:
- Oh sure, she's friendly to people now. What if she gets hungry?
- Seriously, who keeps a 15-foot python as a pet?
- The owner believes Big Mama is probably coiled up in a dark place somewhere, but it's always possible she could be on the move.
