Guy Popped For Dropping Green Dye Into Neighbors' Pool All Summer: Multiple pools near the South Jersey shore, including one at a Quality Inn Motel, have been terrorized all summer by a drone dropping neon green dye into the water. Patrick Spina IV, 45, was arrested Monday in Absecon, New Jersey after allegedly being behind the drone that has ruined many peoples’ summers. Police, who’ve been working with the FAA, spotted the drone flying on September 1st, tracking it to Spina’s office at the Comfort Solutions Heating and Cooling company. Spina was booked on multiple counts of criminal mischief but has been released with upcoming court proceedings. He also may face fines of more than $30,000 and will likely have his drone certification taken away.

Florida Man Takes Floating Hamster Wheel Out To Sea During Hurricane: A man is facing federal charges after the U.S. Coast Guard spotted him 70 nautical miles in a hydro-pod off the coast of Georgia as Hurricane Franklin pummeled the east coast. Reza Baluchi claimed he was headed to London in the hamster-wheel-looking vehicle which was “afloat as a result of wiring and buoys.” However, when the Coast Guard were putting a stop to his “manifestly unsafe” voyage, Baluchi threatened to kill himself, brandishing a 12-inch knife. He also claimed to have a bomb on board, which thankfully, turned out to be a lie. Baluchi surrendered three days later. Fun fact, this is the third time authorities have intercepted his Hydro Pod.
