Researchers claim that by using the technology to analyze the way chickens vocalize, they can pick up on various emotional states like stress, hunger, fear, anger, and happiness with an astounding 80% accuracy.
University of Tokyo professor Adrian David Cheok says this is a giant leap because it lays âthe groundwork for incredible intelligence in the various animal-related industries,â adding, âIf we know what animals are feeling we can design a much better world for them.â
