When you're trying to sell a property, it's probably not a good idea to add in the description that it is "probably haunted."
Listing agent Ericka Kristal Eucker is trying to sell a Massachusetts house that was formerly a funeral home. The for-sale sign outside the Turgeon Funeral Home in Millsbury, Massachusetts has an additional sign attached to it with the words, "Probably Haunted." The house, which is listed for $769,000, was built in 1850 and operated as a funeral home since 1948. Eucker tells the local ABC affiliate, "It's been standing for many years and certainly has some history to go with it," Eucker told WCVB-TV. "I'm not sure if it truly is haunted, but given its age, I suppose it's a possibility."
Scott's Thoughts:
- Yeah, it probably is haunted, but don't tell everybody that.
- There's got to be a buyer out there who is actually excited about the prospect of living in a possibly haunted house.
- If you're willing to live in an old funeral home, there's probably already something odd about you.
