SCN: "Evil Children" Take Chainsaws To $1.4 Million Home

"Evil Children" Take Chainsaws To $1.4 Million Home: A group of teens is being described as “evil” after causing nearly $250k worth of damage to a neighbor’s $ 1.4-million house. Homeowners Joanna and Matt Pittard say the house now looks like “a war zone” and is “absolutely trashed” after the kids, between 13 and 16 years old, went on a month-long destruction spree while the Pittards left town for the month of May. The seven suspects, who can’t be named due to being minors, went back to the six-bedroom home multiple times, smashing 22 windows, squirting ketchup in each room and even taking axes and chainsaws to the house. In interviews with police, the teenagers admitted to their involvement, adding they’d also created a “slip and slide” in the bathroom. When their day in court finally came, the kids expressed “regret and remorse” for what they did and were handed down a sentence of 12 months’ probation and a fine of approximately $1800 each.

Woman Poisons Boyfriend Right After He Receives $30 Million Inheritance: A woman in North Dakota is accused of fatally poisoning her boyfriend after finding out he inherited $30 million and was planning on cutting her lose, according to police. Ina Thea Kenoyer, 47, was charged Monday with the Sept. 5 murder of Steven Edward Riley Jr., 51, that cops said was driven by “financial motives.” Police records indicate that Riley fell ill when he met with his lawyer on September 3rd to collect the massive inheritance and ended up calling 911 the next day. EMTs found him unresponsive at his home and he died at the hospital the following day. An autopsy determined Riley was killed after ingesting antifreeze, which police say his girlfriend gave him. Kenoyer told investigators she planned to split Riley’s inheritance with his son after claiming she was entitled to the money as his “common-law wife”. Unfortunately, North Dakota doesn’t recognize common law relationships. This Class AA felony carries with it a maximum penalty of life without parole.
