A homeowner in Spain with a leaky water pipe must also has a severe clog in his brain because he's in jail for pointing a gun at his plumber and holding him hostage.
Cops say the man called a plumber for help with fixing the leaky pipe, and then went berserk when the plumber gave him an estimate for the cost of the job. He pulled out a gun and threatened to kill him. Neighbors heard a commotion and called the police. When officers arrived, the man wouldn't open the door and refused to release his hostage. He said if police tried to come in, he would detonate a butane cylinder.
After some back-and-forth negotiating, officers convinced the man to open his door a little just so they could see if the plumber was okay, and that's when they burst in and took him into custody. (OddityCentral)
