Late last week, the parent pickup line at Valleyview Elementary School in Lakeland, Florida was held up by a drunken dad. According to Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd, the unnamed man was “drunk out of his mind” and had a blood-alcohol level that was “four times the legal limit.” Needless to say, the man’s children weren’t released to him and later went home with their mother…who was sober. Reportedly, it was the other parents waiting for kids who saw the man downing Bud Light during his wait that phoned the report to the police.
