A Subway customer in Stuart, Florida walked into the sandwich shop and ordered a footlong sub, just the way he likes it. Well, almost just the way he likes it.
Cops say 54-year-old Alberto De Barros watched his sandwich being made and had no problem with it, until he unwrapped it and noticed that the footlong hadn't been cut in half. You may not think that's a big deal, but then again, you're not Alberto De Barros. The man went crazy and started shouting at the sandwich maker. He then picked up his uncut footlong and threw it at her, striking her in the "mid to lower body section." De Barros left the shop and was followed out by the worker who took a photo of his license plater.
Police were called and they were able to track De Barros down. He admitted to getting angry about his sandwich not being cut in half, but told them he thought he threw it at the counter and not at the worker. He was arrested and charged with battery. (The Smoking Gun)
