Once again, social justice protesters have decided that pretending to deface valuable works of art is the best way to get their message across. At the Louvre, French “climate activists” decide to throw an open can of soup at the Mona Lisa. The two protesters are involved with a group called “Riposte Alimentaire,” which translates to “food response.” Apparently, throwing soup at a painting is supposed to tell the world that we all have “the right to healthy and sustainable food.” Fortunately, the Mona Lisa has a piece of glass protecting it from those trying to “protect the planet.” The planet couldn’t be reached for comment.

Scott's Thoughts:
- I bet given a chance they would throw it on the painting itself! Glass or no glass!
- Do these people have jobs? Do they even have lives?
- I don't feel strongly enough about any cause to protest in this manner.
Speaking of food vandalism....
New Jersey Home Vandalized By “Pepperoni Bandits”
A homeowner in Manville, New Jersey is wondering who in their right mind would use pepperoni as a weapon of vandalism. Last week, Heather Dougherty woke up to find pepperoni “strewn all over her property,” on her doorstep, and on her car. After calling the police and talking to an auto expert, Dougherty was relieved to learn that the meat wouldn’t do any damage to her car, but she’s still left wondering who has so little to do with their time that they find a thrill in slicing up “two loaves of pepperoni” and throwing it on someone else’s property. Local pizzeria owner Anthony D’Aniello was asked and was unable to identify what specific member of the “pepperoni family” the meat belonged to, but says it was “larger” than what he’d put on any pizza. D’Aniello also added that, “As an Italian, (this event) hurts the heart.”
