Lawyers have filed a class-action lawsuit, accusing dating apps –including Tinder and Hinge – of having a “predatory” business model and deliberately turning users into swiping addicts. In a statement, the dating app parent company called the lawsuit “ridiculous” and claimed that “we actively strive to get people on dates every day and off our apps.”

- Tinder tops the list, followed by Match and Bumble.
- More than a third of online dating users said they have paid to use the services.
