We all have our preferences when it comes to dating, but we also have things we absolutely won’t tolerate and a new Reddit post has guys sharing those. It asks the men of Reddit, “What is one compromise you’re NOT willing to have in a relationship?” Hundreds of responses have come in and these are some of the best.
- “Oh there are many. So many that a relationship will probably never work out.”
- “I wouldn't even consider an open relationship. I'd be out at that moment.”
- “If she's severely allergic to peanut butter because I'm like physically 99% peanut butter at this point.”
- “Kids. I want to be a dad. If you don’t want to be a mom, then we aren’t gonna work out”
- “Spotty texting”
- “Trust. If I wouldn't trust you with my life we're dating we're not in a relationship.”
- “Double standards. You can't be asking me to not do something while you go and flagrantly do it yourself.”
- “The ‘no female friends allowed’ rule. As a dude, who has waaaaaay more chick friends then dude friends... definite nope”
- “Smokers - I need to breathe”
- “My sleep. My official sleeping hours are between 11pm and 7am with some exceptions like travel and binge watching Netflix.”
- “Religion. It's the most important aspect of my life.”
- “For me it's the opposite. If my girl suddenly became overly religious, that would be grounds for a breakup.”
- “My wife and kids will take my last name.”
- “Open relationship, non-monogamy. This is not the way relationships should be in my opinion”
- “Her being friends with her ex. Definitely a red flag. I always cut contacts with girls I end with so I expect my girl to do the same.”
- “If we live together, I cannot feel like I’m raising her. I want to be her partner, not her parent.”
- “No sex. Shutdown the bedroom and it’s over.”
- “I’m not getting rid of my cat for you”

Scott's Thoughts:
- Everyone has priorities, but I’ll bet peanut butter guy would carry an Epi pen for the right woman!
- Infidelity is the one that is my deal breaker.
- What’s the dumbest dating deal breaker you’ve come across so far?
