Picture this: A pro skier attempts an epic jump at a Canadian resort, aiming for a flat-spin 360. But during that attempt, things go crazy mid-air. Footage posted online shows Ivan Jones, the junior freeride maestro, maneuvering the slopes, before catapulting off a natural ramp. But, as Ivan flies through the air, he collides with an unoccupied chairlift called 'Top of the World Chair.” Cue the crash, the snow cloud, and the collective gasp in the background.
Lucky for Jones, he emerges with just a few bumps and bruises, and the whole spectacle has almost 1-million likes on Instagram. Pro skiers chimed in, with Cole Richardson saying, “It was always talked about but never thought it would actually happen.” Some even suggested turning this crash into the ultimate ski trick – like landing perfectly seated on the chair.
