A picture posted on Reddit has lit a fire under Walmart shoppers who are already fed up with the whole self-checkout thing. The photo shows a posted sign that reads, “This self-checkout is for Spark shoppers and Walmart+ Scan & Go only.” As you might expect, the post was met with the venomous hatred the internet is known for, which takes issue with the fact that now it appears to be specialized lanes dedicated to shoppers who are paying money to be part of the Walmart+ program. Not for nothing, but it seems that if you’re already paying for the service, then that “special” line should come with…you know…a real human cashier, perhaps.
