Waffle House Workers On Strike In Atlanta

In Atlanta, there’s a Waffle House strike that’s threatening to shake the foundations of the 24-hour breakfast universe. The Waffle House crew walked off the job with the hope that three demands will be met…a pay increase to $25 an hour, on-site security 24/7, and that the $3-per-shift meal deduction be removed. Currently, workers at that Waffle House have their pay deducted by three bucks…even if they don’t eat anything from the store while they’re on break.
