Apparently, we need to broaden the list of celebrities we follow on social media so we know when country stars like Jelly Roll take the stage with artists from other formats. Artists like Eminem.
Yes, Jelly made an appearance at Eminem's June 6th show in Detroit — the rapper's hometown. But he wasn't just there to shake hands and kiss babies. He sang the Steven Tyler part, "Dream On," of Eminem's "Sing for the Moment."
Considering Jelly got his start rapping, we're a little surprised we didn't hear a little "Slim Shady" or "Lose Yourself."
Scott's Thoughts:
- Talk about milestone moments!
- Do you think Jelly will record another rap album?
- Now Marshall (Eminem) needs to return the favor and perform at a Jelly show.
- J.R. is slimming down a lot. You can see it in his face.
