You might remember hearing about a Singapore Airlines flight last month that experienced “extreme turbulence.” During that flight, a 73-year-old man was killed, another man suffered a suspected heart attack, and other passengers and crew members suffered “skull, brain, and spinal injuries.” Now, Singapore Airlines is attempting to make some kind of restitution to those who experienced the terror at 30K feet…by giving each passenger $10K in compensation. It might not completely make up for it, but it’s much better than getting a voucher.
