A dispute over what “All You Can Eat” means led to a woman being arrested at a Portage, Indiana Applebee’s. An unidentified 28-year-old woman was charged with disorderly conduct after a “verbal disturbance” was reported. It seems that the confrontation erupted based on the misconception that “if one person at the table ordered the ‘All You Can Eat’ deal, it was good for the entire table.” Reportedly “words were exchanged” when the manager told them that “each person would have to pay $15.99 for the deal.” This was evidenced by the Applebee’s menu, which clearly advertised the deal as “per person.”
