In Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, 36-year-old Joshua Kim found himself arrested after pulling out a gun in a candy store and holding employees at gunpoint over candy he wanted to return. It all went down at Sugar Life Ice Cream & Candy Bar, where Kim reportedly wanted to return some candy. When a manager told Kim that candy returns weren’t allowed…which is supposedly made clear during the check-out process…an argument reportedly ensued. That’s when police say the piece came out, with an employee saying that Kim said, “I put a chunk in your head if you don’t bring me back my money, right now. It’s no lie. It’s no lie.” Surveillance video appears to back up the employees’ account of what happened. Kim was later arrested at the resort he and a female companion were staying at…and where cocaine and weed were also allegedly found.

Inmates Try Prison Break By Dressing As Women During Visiting Hours - A couple of dangerous prisoners in Brazil tried to make their break from captivity using the old cross-dressing technique. Francisco Atila da Silva and Carlos Antonio da Silva Oliviera are suspected members of a “criminal faction” who’ve been doing time for drug trafficking, robbery, and murder. Their master escape plan was to disguise themselves as women, complete with long, black wigs, pink skirts, white t-shirts, and “improvised breasts” which they hoped would fool the guards as they mingled “with real women at the end of conjugal visiting hours.” Too bad for them that the get-ups weren’t nearly authentic enough, as guards were able to spot them quickly before they made their getaway. An investigation is now underway to find out how the two men got the disguises in the first place.
