If you could go back to when your kids were born, would you still give them the same name? According to a survey from BabyCenter, one-in-10 moms said they regret the name they chose for their baby. The most common reason given for the regret is feeling like the name they chose didn't really fit the child's personality. Others said their child's name has been mocked or critiqued. 6% of moms in the survey said they went through the process of legally changing their child's name to something that better suits them. Others instead chose to pick a nickname they preferred.
Scott's Thoughts:
- My kids, Bevin and Aralyn, have perfect names! Wouldn't change a thing!
- I never LOVED my middle name, Eugene, because pop culture turned it into a nerd name.
- Do you think your child's name perfectly suits their personality?
