In Chesterfield County, Virginia, a homeowner learned the hard way the damage that can be done by doing something stupid. Reports say a home was destroyed last Thursday night when an oven exploded. Why did the oven explode, you ask? Well, the owner of the home, for reasons known only to them, decided it would be a wonderful idea to place a loaded gun into the oven…and then turn it on. Not for nothing, but perhaps a gun safe would be a better storage unit next time.

Pastor Arrested In Vegas With Guns And Drugs In Hotel Room…Allegedly
In case you weren’t aware, “What Happens in Vegas…Stays in Vegas” is just an advertising slogan. It isn’t going to apply in real-life instances. David McGee is a 61-year-old evangelical pastor from North Carolina. During a recent stay at The Strat in Las Vegas, McGee reported “a piece of missing property” to authorities. When police asked him if he had any weapons, McGee admitted to having a “gun in his guitar case,” and it’s worth noting the hotel employees reportedly had warned McGee against having a weapon in his room, which was against hotel policy. Further searching of the room led police to also find an AR-15 with a scope and some fentanyl, which McGee said he “intended to…distribute to his daughter once he locates her.” Reports say that McGee was in Las Vegas to find his daughter, whom he believed was living “in a flood control tunnel.”
