A Dutch man has really boxed himself into a corner.
The 33-year-old was arrested on stalking charges after he packed himself into a cardboard box and had himself shipped to his ex-girlfriend's home. The unidentified scorned lover told police he did it because it was “the only way to get in and get my stuff back."
The woman claims that when she opened the box, he popped out and threatened her with a gun. He then ran off with a set of keys to her house. Police visited the man at his home and found no weapons. They did, however, find a set of keys which he insisted was given to him earlier. Police also discovered that he had been sending the woman emails and created a social media account in her name.
Following the delivery incident, the woman set up a camera which caught the man inside her home three times. In one of the visits, he was seen installing some type of device in her kitchen. The man was arrested and has been sentenced to four months in jail. He's also been ordered to stay away from the woman for three years. (Dutch News)
