We’re number one! We’re number one! New research from WordTips has found that no country in the world curses more than the gold ol’ USA. After analyzing 1.7 million English-language tweets (or X’s, if you will), they found that 41.6 tweets per thousand contained “swear words.” Coming in second, with 28.6 tweets per thousand, was the UK. Not even close, tea bags! The city taking the American cursing crown is Baltimore, with a staggering 78.2 tweets of each 1,000 containing at least one swear.
